2009 News

The news from the 2009 season.

The Cocker for Champs

Midge

2009 Season we were very pleased with all of our dogs acheivements.

Ian Qualified Midge for her second British Cocker Championships after winning "on ice" the Highland Gun Dog Club Open Stake.

Silky

Silky only managed to get three Open Runs but we managed to gain a fourth in one of them.

Charlie

Charlie our youngest Novice Cocker Spaniel was so unlucky not to win in his first full Trialing season, he gained five awards out of eight Trials and was only put out of one of them.

He Unfortunately lost a run-off for first place, Fingers Crossed for next year.

Holly

Holly

I trained and ran Holly for a short time and entered her in one Trial which she gained an award which was nice. She has now become a nice shooting, beating dog for a game keeper.

Pickle

Pickle had an outstanding Working Test Season, acheiving First, Second, Third, Fourth and Judges Choice all in Open Stakes.

Her main acheivement for the year was qualifying for National Finals at the Midland Game Fair and the Mitsubishi Challenge which was the best 30 dogs in the country.

Unfortunately we didn't come home with the new car.....

Holly the drug detection dog

TIPTOP JACK MASERATI of DORSET HILL (Holly)

See in the picture on the right with her handler, Trevor.

One of the cocker spaniels bred by us went to Chilport who carry out explosives and drug searches.

Holly passed out with flying colours and is now a fully trained drugs detection dog.

She carried out a successful drugs raid with a great result and featured on television and radio.

Puppies

We are hopefully going to have a litter of Cocker and English Spaniels this summer, one being from Holly the English Spaniel, please email for further information.
